Our friend John Farrell at the Institute for Local Self-Reliance lost his father, Jim Farrell, two weeks ago. Jim was a Professor at St. Olaf College, and John wrote a beautiful piece on how his father imparted lessons on sustainability when teaching history. It is well worth your time to read and reflect on how we can choose to integrate sustainability into our lives.
