We support citizen volunteers in in 40 metro communities active with green teams in congregations, neighborhoods, schools and City environmental commissions to partner with their City Councils and city staff to help their cities set and achieve together community-wide energy, resilience and sustainability goals, including:

  • Achieving MN Green Step Cities best practices
  • Including resilience and sustainability themes in their Comprehensive Plans
  • Engaging residents and businesses to take action to achieve city goals on to energy, active living, healthy food access, water quality, and zero waste with our nonprofit, county, and watershed district partners

We offer regular workshops/networking gatherings for city staff, city environmental & planning commission volunteers, elected leaders, and citizen volunteers to share their successes and lessons.
